Loaner Scope Program

The Prescott Astronomy Club offers members the ability to borrow club-owned equipment for astronomy education and to become familiar with telescopes, mounts, and accessories.

Terms of Use

  1. All borrowers must be a current club member with dues paid.
  2. Borrowers must transport equipment to and from its storage location.
  3. A PAC board member will conduct a training session before any equipment is checked out.
  4. Equipment is checked out for 60 days, with extensions available unless another member is waiting.
  5. Borrowers must maintain all aspects of checked-out equipment in good condition.
  6. Lost or damaged equipment must be reported immediately. Borrowers are expected to replace equipment at fair market value.
