Volunteering at PAC
PAC is an all-volunteer organization. Every event, outreach program, and activity is made possible by members giving their time and enthusiasm.
PAC has grown significantly in recent years — over 150 members as of 2025. Our speaker program is more popular than ever, star parties draw large crowds, and public awareness is growing. More volunteers are needed to keep expanding our activities.

Help with updates and support of our WordPress website. Technical skills appreciated but not required for content updates.

🔭 Telescope Volunteer — Star Parties
Expand our pool of telescope volunteers and guides. Answer questions and guide attendees around the sky at public star parties, private outreach events, and more.

🍔 Social Events (Picnic & Christmas Party)
Help with setup and cleanup at club picnics. Assist with party favors, name cards, and door prizes at the Christmas party.

☕ Refreshments
Help and backup for the snack table at monthly meetings. A small but appreciated role that makes every meeting more welcoming.

🏫 School & Community Outreach
Visit local schools and community groups to share astronomy. Members bring telescopes and hands-on activities. No prior teaching experience required.
